Building a Supreme Court Practice

The latest edition of Supreme Court Brief, our newsletter on the nation's highest court, features an interview with Kannon Shanmugam, who left the solicitor general's office five years ago to develop an appellate specialty at Williams & Connolly. We also reported on the court's grant of review in a Florida case that tests the definition of mental retardation for defendants facing a death sentence. Also, the latest on the lawyering in the greenhouse gas cases now before the court. With the court out of session until November 4, our next issue will be sent to subscribers on October 30.
