Sentenced: Bradley Manning, the man behind the largest classified document leak in U.S. history, was sentenced to 35 years in prison. The Washington Post reports that the Manning conviction could also serve to motivate the government to go after WikiLeaks' Julian Assange.  Spying: Meanwhile, the National Security Agency was admonished by the FISA court for unlawfully collecting email communications of tens of thousands of Americans. The revelation in a once-secret court ruling made public on Wednesday. The National Law Journal's Mike Scarcella reports. Fort Hood: The accused Fort Hood shooter offered no defense to the accusations that he killed 13 people preparing to deploy for Afghanistan. Closing arguments are planned for today. The Wall Street Journal reports. Chemical Warfare: A gas attack in Syria has left hundreds dead, according to the UN Security Counsel. The government was accused by the opposition of launching rockets that dispensed chemicals which killed men, women and children as they slept. Reuters reports.
