Bloodshed: More than 500 people were killed in Egypt when the military tried to clear protesters loyal to ousted President Mohamed Morsi. Despite the crackdown, the Muslim Brotherhood is calling for more protests. The New York Times reports. Digging in: Attorneys representing American Airlines and US Airways said they would vigorously defend the proposed $11 billion dollar merger in court. The Department of Justice, six states and the District of Columbia filed suit on Tuesday to block the merger. The National Law Journal's Jenna Greene reports. London Whale: U.S. and British authorities are expected to fine JP Morgan for the $6.2 billion loss that led to the indictment of two former employees.The bank could be the target of the SEC, DOJ and CFTC. Bloomberg reports. Addicted: About one in 10 Americans admits that they take prescription medicine for which they do not have a prescription. About 25 percent of those use the medicine to get high.
